Best time to fish Central America and Mexico

Timing is everything here. Cabo's striped marlin peak October through December, with blues and blacks best June through October. Costa Rica's Pacific sailfish are strongest December through April in the calm dry season. Puerto Vallarta's big yellowfin and blue marlin fire from August through November. Panama fishes well most of the year, but the December-to-April dry season offers the flattest seas.
